I've been wanting to go to a 3-column format for awhile. I also wanted to find a different template that I could personalize more. So, I spent all yesterday afternoon looking at templates, reading, trying to learn how to do all this. I finally uploaded a template, lost all my links and became a nervous wreck.
A very nice guy on Google's Blogger Help Group found a cached page so I could copy all the links and get them back up. I decided to save them as articles since I don't have the time right now to retype everything and I also think that visually, it helps keep the blog a little less busy. So, they now have links on the right side bar, but need to be clicked on to be accessed.
I guess this is how we learn through the school of hard knocks. I still would like to make a bunch of changes and if someone out there is speedy at this and would like to help me, maybe we can do a trade with something from one of my stores. Leave a comment if you do!
